Amazon Big Deal Days sale, better known as Prime Day, officially ended at midnight, but some of the deals are still active. Just like this one: the Garmin Vivoactive is still available, discounted from £259.99 to just £209.71 at Amazon. That’s a saving of £51, not to be sniffed at, and cheaper than most comparable smartwatches.

Today’s best Garmin Vivoactive 5 Prime Day deal

The Garmin Vivoactive 5 is a perfect alternative to the Apple Watch or a Samsung Galaxy Watch, and in some ways: it’s even better: it lasts a full 11 days between charges instead of 24 hours, and it’s got the excellent Garmin Connect app for all your fitness needs.

I’m a regular Garmin user, and I’ve personally tested the Garmin Vivoactive 5’s workout tracking against the Apple Watch Ultra 2, finding it just as accurate. We called it “an excellent watch for those with an active lifestyle, who might not be power users or marathon runners” in our review, but it would certainly see you through to training for a first marathon, if you want to take on the challenge in 2026.
