I own Sony’s WH-1000XM5 headphones, and every time I put them on, I’m blown away by the incredible sound that they produce. But at $299, they’re not going to suit everyone’s budget. If you’re looking for a much cheaper option, then I’d recommend you buy the Sony WH-CH520 at Amazon for $33 (was $69.99).
Despite being Sony’s budget-friendly offering, in reality, they punch well above their weight. With well-balanced sound and a feature set found more commonly in pricier models, the WH-CH520 are well worth a look if you want a pair of the best wireless headphones but are strapped for cash.

It’s worth noting that these are an on-ear design, which we appreciate is not for everyone. But if you’re looking for something lightweight and portable, then they’re hard to beat.
We recommend listening at above 40% volume because otherwise the sound can become a little compressed. That being said, in general, the WH-CH520 produce well-balanced audio and feature impressive bass, especially given the price.
