Gigabyte has gone stealthy with its new AORUS GeForce RTX 5090 Stealth ICE graphics card which comes with some cool white aesthetics.
Gigabyte Is Launching The AORUS GeForce RTX 5090 Stealth ICE Graphics Card Which Cleverly Hides The 16-Pin Connector
Backside connector graphics cards are not necessarily new but the RTX 50 series has so far seen a few models adopt this design. Gigabyte is now one of the first manufacturers to adopt the backside connector design for its high-end RTX 50 class GPU which also comes with some impressive looks.
Starting with the details, the Gigabyte AORUS GeForce RTX 5090 Stealth ICE graphics card features a triple-fan and triple-slot design with white aesthetics all around. The three fans in the middle use seven fan blades and the heatsink beneath the card employs a vapor chamber with high-end super conducting heat pipes under a die-casted frame.
As far as the Stealth design goes, the 16-pin (12V-2×6) connector is cleverly placed on the backside and under the third fan. It is stated that the extra cooling from the third fan should ensure that the connector stays within optimal temperatures to avoid any necessary heat buildup, which is an issue on the new connector. The sides of the card come with a small LCD display, and you get the usual “GeForce RTX” and “AORUS” logos.
The second product that is part of the AORUS lineup is the P1600W 80+ Titanium PSU. This PSU is part of the AI TOP family and features a fully modular design. It supports PCIe 5.1 and ATX 3.1 standards, plus it comes with four 16-pin PCIe cables while housing two 16-pin connectors which can support up to 2 RTX 5090 GPUs. The PSU also features a Digital LCD Monitor and is said to house some high-end components.
Details regarding pricing and availability were a bit slim but we can expect both of these products to cost a premium and should be available in the coming months.
