Acer Debuts Predator X27U F5, Company’s First and Flagship 500Hz QD-OLED Offering; Unveils Several Mid-Range and Budget Monitors

MSI and ASUS aren’t alone in manufacturing the fastest QD-OLED gaming monitors. Acer has also joined the race by unveiling two high-end QD-OLED gaming monitors that compete directly with what other vendors have released. At Computex, Acer showcased its latest Predator series monitors: Predator X27U F5 and Predator X27 X gaming monitors, each featuring Samsung’s latest-gen QD-OLED panel.

The Predator X27U F5 is the company’s flagship QD-OLED 2K gaming monitor, featuring a 27-inch screen size that runs at up to 500Hz refresh rate. On the other hand, the Predator X27 X has a 4K QD-OLED display with up to 240Hz of refresh rate. Both have many things in common, such as VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification and a color gamut of 99% DCI-P3. Equipped with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technology and a response time of just 0.03ms of GtG, these are excellent for a fast-paced or immersive gaming experience.

For those who want a more affordable solution, Acer has showcased its Nitro series, featuring three different monitor models: the Nitro GA321QK P, Nitro GA341CUR W0, and Nitro PG271K. The first two are UHD and UWQHD monitors with 165Hz and 240Hz refresh rates, respectively, while the third one is a portable monitor, featuring 4K resolution on an IPS panel.

For content creators and general users, Acer has launched several new monitors under the ProCreator and Portable series. The ProCreator series has three high-end monitors: PE320QXT, PE27XT, and PE320QK X, each of which offers excellent color reproduction and color accuracy. The PE320QXT is the company’s most premium offering, boasting a 6K resolution (6016x3384p), while the PE27XT also delivers a good 5K (5120x2880p) resolution for highly crisp visuals.

Each of these offers 99% AdobeRGB and 99% DCI-P3 color gamut with color accuracy of Delta E<1. They are also VESA DisplayHDR 600 certified and have convenient features such as 8M webcams and ErgoStand for versatile adjustments. The PE320QK X is a 4K QD-OLED panel that is an all-around productivity/gaming monitor with a 240Hz refresh rate, 0.01ms of response time, DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification, and color accuracy of Delta 3<1.

In the Portable monitor category, there are three different monitors: PD163QT, PD243Y E, and PM191Q E for those who want excellent visuals on the go. All of these offer a full HD resolution and up to 100Hz refresh rate. The PD163QT and PD243Y E are both dual-stack monitors, while the PM191Q E is a budget single-screen portable monitor for simple uses.
