Whoop, maker of CNET’s favorite sleep tracker, on Friday launched not one but two new devices: the Whoop 5.0 and Whoop MG — MG stands for medical grade. Alongside these new models, the company also unveiled new membership tiers and a host of new health, longevity and fitness features.

Whoop 5.0 vs 4.0: What’s new?

The Whoop 5.0 now offers 14-plus days of battery life on a single charge. For $29, you can get a basic charger or grab a wireless powerpack for $49. The wireless powerpack gives it a full month of battery life.

Whoop 5.0 can also be worn on multiple locations on the body — not just the wrist — for 24/7 tracking. If you find having a wearable on your wrist clunky and uncomfortable, this is a game-changer. The 5.0 model is also 7% smaller than the 4.0, Whoop says, but delivers 10 times more power efficiency. Updated sensors capture data 26 times per second.

With the new Healthspan for users age 18 and older, Whoop measures your “Whoop age” compared to your chronological age and “pace of aging” using nine different health metrics. This gives you insight into how your lifestyle decisions affect your longevity and provides recommendations that help you optimize your health.

The Whoop Healthspan feature.

Hormonal Insights is another fresh feature that assists members in better understanding how their menstrual cycles, hormonal fluctuations and pregnancy impact sleep, recovery, strain and overall well-being. Similar to Healthspan, the feature will also provide actionable insights and recommendations. However, it shouldn’t be used for birth control or fertility tracking, the company warns.

The Whoop Sleep Score has been updated, giving you a more accurate reflection of your sleep quality so you can better recover. Comprehensive fitness tracking has received a similar upgrade, so members now see their VO₂ Max numbers during fitness tracking and muscular strength during strength training and over 145 supported activities.

The Whoop MG

The Whoop MG has a Heart Screener, which includes an ECG or electrocardiogram, a test that checks heartbeat, which has been cleared by the Food and Drug Administration. These results can be shared directly with your doctor. The Heart Screener also detects and informs users about possible early warning signs of atrial fibrillation, aka AFib, and irregular heart rhythm notifications.

Note that this feature is not for people with known arrhythmias other than AFib or those under age 22. It is also not recommended for people with implanted electronic devices such as cardiac pacemakers or implantable cardioverter-defibrillators.

Currently in beta, Blood Pressure Insights is another new MG feature that offers daily estimates of systolic and diastolic ranges and provides more information about how blood pressure affects well-being.

Whoop Advanced Labs

Whoop has opened the wait list for its new Whoop Advanced Labs in the US, which will allow you to purchase and schedule a blood test at a nearby location or in your home. Then, in the Whoop app, you’ll receive a personalized analysis that allows you to understand what your results mean for your health and what changes you can make. In between tests, you see how your behavior changes impact biomarkers like cholesterol and glucose levels as well as sleep health.

Note that this will be an additional charge not included in your Whoop membership. It is not currently covered by insurance, but the company is working on HSA/FSA eligibility.

New Whoop membership tiers

There are three new Whoop membership tiers: One (for fitness performance), Peak (longevity and health management) and Life (advanced health and heart monitoring). The prices are as follows:

  • Whoop One: $199 per year. Includes the Whoop 5.0.
  • Whoop Peak: $239 per year. Includes the Whoop 5.0.
  • Whoop Life: $359 per year. Includes the Whoop MG.

You can purchase the Whoop 5.0 or MG now here. If you’re already a member, you can extend your membership by 12 months to get a free hardware upgrade to the 5.0 with a one-time fee and no changes to your current term. You also have the option to upcycle the Whoop 4.0 to earn credit toward your upgrade or accessories.
