This is because the tech giant generally tests demand in the home market before reaching out to the US and other regions.

Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge has been in the limelight for quite some time, even before it was released, due to the ultra-thin form factor it would be bringing about, and speculations have been suggested that we might see the device somewhere in April. However, delays led to the date being pushed, and now a teaser for an upcoming event was leaked, giving away the launch window for the phone.
According to the latest rumor, the Galaxy S25 Edge might debut on May 13 in South Korea and then be followed by a broader release by the end of the month. We did get an early look at the device during this year’s Unpacked event. However, the other details of the slim phone have remained under the hood, and it seems like we might see what Samsung is offering in its S25 Edge model in the coming weeks.

This is not the first time we have heard of a May launch window, as speculations have hinted at the device being a couple of weeks away, but the newly leaked image via Evan Blass on X seems to confirm the date for the ultra-thin flagship. The leaked image has “Beyond Slim” written on it since Galaxy S25 Edge is said to be the company’s slimmest profile yet. The teaser also includes a disclaimer for the date in Italian, “13 Maggio 2025,” which translated in English to May 13, 2025.
The teaser also shows a silhouette image of the upcoming phone’s ultra-thin design and style. It remains to be seen whether the current leaked promotional image reveals the actual date, but for now, it seems that Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge might be just around the corner.
