DigiKey premieres Sustainable Futures video series

The series, which is sponsored by Analog Devices, has three episodes. They deal with companies and individuals leading the way in developing green technologies and more sustainable practices within organizations.

Episodes

The first episode of Season 1 is “Optimizing for Sustainability”. This covers the challenges of sustainable manufacturing and investigates the strategies to provide necessary solutions. Specifically, the video highlights flexible manufacturing.

The second video, “Connecting Digital Signals”, explores digital connectivity and sustainability on the factory floor. It highlights, for example, how embedded vision systems help organisations to make more informed decisions.

The final video, “Engineering a Sustainable Future”, discusses logistics technologies. For example, intelligent material flows, industrial vision and automated robotic systems.

Sustainable Futures

“Technologies like IoT and IIoT have become indispensable tools in the fight against climate change and resource depletion,” said Hermann Reiter, senior director, EMEA supplier business development at DigiKey.

“As these systems become more sophisticated and accessible, DigiKey and suppliers like ADI are seeding the market with products and solutions to allow even greater adoption across industries, leading to a more sustainable future.”
