“Every Conec part that was from Conec is now Amphenol-owned and, as we offer the Amphenol range, we have access to the entire range of Conec products,” said Inelco Hunter MD David Bushnell.
Sockets with up to eight poles are available, in front and rear panel mounting variants, terminating in wires, straight solder pins or surface-mountable electrodes.
“Insulating bodies are available in 3, 4, 5 and 8-position,” said Inelco. “Four different housing types – two front and two rear panel mounting – are offered in various heights.”
They come with A, B, D or P keying – not all position/keying/mounting options are available, but custom versions can be made to fill in gaps.
Matching over-moulded straight or 90° plugs are also offered. Mating life is in excess of 100 cycles, said the distributor.
Retention is by a screw coupling or is snap-in, depending on types, and. up to six poles, coupled parts are sealed to IP67.
