Corsair has adopted a new marketing strategy, as the company now includes a “Next-Gen GPU Ready” tag with its products to help consumers choose their hardware.
Corsair Now Has Specified PSUs, PC Cases, & Cooling Fans For Consumers To Pair Up With Next-Gen GPUs
Hardware companies often tend to develop new tactics to appeal to their audiences, and it looks like Corsair decided to introduce next-gen compatible products a few days before the official GPU launch by NVIDIA and AMD. In order to facilitate consumers and newbies in particular, Corsair has segmented its product lineup to focus specifically on products that are compatible with the upcoming hardware, primarily including power supplies, cooling components, and PC cases.
Diving into the specifics, Corsair’s “next-gen ready” power supplies include the RMe, RMX and the RMx SHIFT series, all with fully modular cables, and a Cybenetics Gold certification. The standout feature of this particular set of PSUs is the presence of the new 12V-2×6 power cables, which are said to be featured in upcoming GPUs, such as NVIDIA’s RTX 50 series. These connectors deliver up to 600W of power, and Corsair’s power supplies will fully support this TDP rating.

Apart from power supplies, Corsair has also included new cases, such as the 3500x series and 4000D airflow, which are said to be fully compatible with the upcoming GPUs, including the GeForce RTX 5090. For cooling components, Corsair’s “next-gen ready” program includes a variety of cooling fans, such as the RS ARGB and the iCUE Link series. Interestingly, Corsair’s program doesn’t include any new products for now, so to sum up, the firm has defined which one of its existing offers will be supported by the upcoming hardware.
Consumers looking to enter the market to use the newer GPUs by NVIDIA and AMD can easily pair up components coming under Corsair’s “next-gen ready” program, making it easier for them to choose products.
