SemiKong was trained by Aitomatic and its partners in the AI Alliance. Aitomatic sees it as an industry priority to collect expert information on semiconductor design.
Aitomatic uses Domain-Expert Agents (DXAs), trained on companies’ technical libraries or entries from expert engineers, to automate development tasks or provide chatbot-style communication with engineers.
According to Aitomatic, a purpose-built LLM trained to help the design industry would be a good way to help young engineers .
SemiKong is based on Meta’s Llama 3.1 LLM platform,Â
