Intel’s mainstream & entry-level Arrow Lake-S Desktop CPUs such as the Core Ultra 5 245, Ultra 5 235, & Ultra 3 205 have been detailed in a new leak.

Intel Plans To Decorate Its Arrow Lake-S Lineup Extensively Through New Midrange SKUs, Including a Core Ultra 3 Model

Intel’s Arrow Lake-S “Core Ultra 200” Desktop CPUs are right around the corner, & as we approach closer to the launch, details surrounding additional CPU models in the lineup are starting to get clearer, giving us a better idea of what to expect with the next-gen lineup.

The latest leak comes from the renowned hardware leaker Raichu, who has disclosed information regarding three Arrow Lake-S CPUs that come relatively under the budget segment. This includes the Core Ultra 5 245, Core Ultra 5 235, and the Core Ultra 3 205 non-K SKUs, which are expected to debut soon.

Raichu has confirmed the clock speeds for the above-mentioned variants. Starting with the Core Ultra 5 245, the CPU is expected to feature a base clock of 3.4 GHz, reaching up to 5.1 GHz for P-Cores along with 4.9 GHz in all-core boost frequencies. On the other hand, the Core Ultra 5 235 is said to be slightly behind, featuring a 5.0 GHz max P-Core boost along with a 4.8 GHz all-core boost.

Apart from this, the leaker has given us more details about the entry-level Core Ultra 3 205 CPU, which is said to be the first octa-core “Core i3 replacement” in the lineup. The Core Ultra 3 205 is reported to feature a base clock of 3.9 GHz, reaching up to 4.8 GHz in P-Core boost. However, given the generational upgrade you are getting here, especially with the newer Lion Cove P-Cores and Skymont E-Cores architectures, this particular Core Ultra 3 variant will put up quite a competition among previous-gen CPUs, such as the Core i3 14100/F.

In terms of the release date, the Arrow Lake-S CPU family is expected to launch by October 10, coming head to head with AMD’s Ryzen 9000 series SKUs, and it will be interesting to see whether the lineup manages to compete against the existing market offerings.
