Apple has just announced that it will be hosting its “Let Loose” in the first week of May where it will finally announce the upgraded iPad Air and iPad Pro models. Apple was originally expected to announce the new devices by the end of last year but saw fit to introduce the M3 series of MacBook Pro models. The company is promoting the event with new artistic logos on its website, and it appears that the company has a lot in store for users other than the upgraded iPad Pro models. The artistic Apple logos suggest that the company could release a new Apple Pencil with new controls and utilities.

Apple was also rumored to announce the new iPad Pro models last month but potentially due to production issues, the launch date slipped ahead by a few months. Nonetheless, we are glad that the company is indeed announcing its biggest iPad Pro upgrade since 2018. To promote its event, Apple’s website randomly shows six different logos, possibly highlighting the capabilities of the new OLED iPad Pro and the rumored Apple Pencil upgrade.
We have previously reported that the company will announce a new version of the Apple Pencil with pressure-sensitive features for extended controls. Tim Cook also hinted at the new accessory with a tweet saying “Pencil us in for May 7!” with an emoji at the end of a pencil. The new Apple Pencil will launch alongside the OLED iPad Pro with upgraded utilities for creative artists.

It also shows that the new Apple Pencil will play a pivotal role in utilizing the iPad Pro’s new OLED display with capacitive buttons. Other than the ‘Pro’, Apple is also expected to announce two new variants of the iPad Air lineup, with a bigger 12.9-inch model expected to be the biggest change coming to the ‘Air’ models.
Apple will announce the new OLED iPad Pro and iPad Air at its “Let Loose” event on May 7 and potentially the company could also surprise us with additional upgraded products. The company could also announce revamped accessories with the new devices, such as the Magic Keyboard. We will be covering the event in extensive detail, so be sure to stick around.
