Google has started rolling out the latest Android Feature Drop, and it is pretty good as far as the features are concerned. The features will soon be available to a number of features for different services such as Messages, Wear OS, Google TV, and more.
You can expect these features to start rolling out to all Android devices that support it in the coming days and weeks, so let’s not waste time and have a look at what Google has introduced.
The latest Feature Drop brings a lot of improvements to Android, Google TV, as well as Wear OS
The first feature that Google has introduced to Android is a new Emoji Kitchen sticker animation to celebrate a new season. Users will be able to create even better combinations than before by using Gboard and having the fun of expressing themselves the way they want.
Google Messages on Android is also getting Voice Moods, which will add a unique background and an animated emoji to your voice messages to tell the receiver about how you might be feeling. This feature is currently rolling out to the beta channel but should be available to stable users soon.

Android and Google TV aside, Google is also showing some love to your Wear OS watches, as you will now be able to control more smart home devices and light groups from within your smartwatch.
Moving further, Wear OS-powered devices are also getting a new feature that would allow you to set your Google Home status to Home or Away right from the smartwatch. This is an excellent watch that will allow you to ensure that your cameras are on, doors are locked, and no one forgot to turn off the lights.
Wear OS-powered smartwatches are also getting a new feature that will allow you to start Assistant Routines right from your smartwatch. You just have to issue a voice command, and you would be good to go. This is a really handy feature that would allow you the ability to remain untethered from your Android smartphone.
Google is also going to let you set a custom PIN on your FIDO2 security keys for both websites and apps that request verification. This will allow all users to seamlessly log in without running into any issues.
Wear OS smartwatches can now deliver Assistant At a Glance on the watch face, which makes it so much easier. I love this feature on my Android phone, so having this on the watch will make it even better.
Furthermore, in case Android users come across an image that does not have an accurate text description, you can actually use the TalkBack feature so it can generate an AI-based description for you and explain it to you. The feature works across the board on any image type from various sources.
Android devices are now going to be able to take calls and access media through live captions. In addition to that, you will be able to reply to phone calls by texting a response that will be read aloud. Google says this will allow users to take calls without hearing them or actually responding with your voice.
All these features look really good, and I cannot wait to get my hands on these, especially the ones that are coming to Android devices as well as Wear OS smartwatches.
