Spectran V6 Mobile spectrum analyser

Spectran V6 Mobile is the portable analyser (photo right), with a real-time bandwidth of 490MHz.

“This means that even the 320MHz wide channels of the new IEEE 802.11ax standard can be fully recorded,” according to the company. “The tablet, which is also available separately, is powered by the AMD Ryzen 7949 HF processor with 64Gbyte LPDDR5x memory.”

Frequency range is from 9kHz to 140GHz, and it can sweep at 3THz/s.

Connections include an optical network interface, 4x USB-C (15W USB PD each) and slots for 2x M.2 2280, 3x M.2 2242 and a SIM card.

Up to 16Tbyte of SSD storage can be fitted, and it has two hot-swappable battery packs.

The Spectran V6 XPR series are display-less USB-connected analysers that can sweep at above >3THz/s and have waveguide inputs. “Thanks to the waveguide connection, you can connect your own amplifier and splitter systems,” said Aaronia.

It picked out one of the models,  the V6 Plus XPR 250XB-WR12, as especially suited to 76 to 81GHz automotive radar measurements as it has a 10dB noise figure at 77GHz.

Also at IMS 2025, the company will reveal a 2 – 40GHz angle-of-arrival direction-finding antenna, the ‘DF 16-20400’, which will sit alongside the existing 1 – 18GHz DF 16-10180.

Find the company on stand 1459 in hall B at the Moscone Center over 15 – 20 June.

Aaronia was founded in 2003 and is based in Strickscheid, Germany. All of its products are designed and manufactured in Germany.

In April, Siglent announced a portable multi-instrument with 9kHz to 7.5GHz range and 110MHz real-time analysis bandwidth.
