While the rumor mill has been churning for quite some time, we are still able to get little information on the upcoming S25 Edge, and Samsung has been able to keep its secrecy. It seems that speculations will keep emerging as a renowned tipster gives away the weight of the new thin phone. Ice Universe took it to X to confirm that the Galaxy S25 Edge would weigh 162g and would have a thickness of 5.84mm, which is noticeably thinner than the Galaxy S25 Plus, standing at 7.2mm thick.

The leaker also goes on to suggest that the pricing of the Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to be similar to the S25 Plus, with the estimated starting price being around $999, which would place the phone in the same premium category despite its compact design. The slim phone is also expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and come with 12GB of RAM and 256GB internal storage.
The camera layout is expected to feature a 200MP primary camera and a 50MP ultrawide camera. However, the phone might come with a smaller battery, standing at 3,900mAh, to achieve the slim design. Samsung will officially announce the Galaxy S25 Edge in April, with official sales beginning in May. More details will emerge as the launch date approaches.
