AMD’s Fire Range Ryzen 9 9955HX3D, 9955HX, and Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX CPUs are now available on OEM laptops for pre-orders, starting at €2320.
AMD’s Latest Ryzen 9 9955HX3D “Fire Range” X3D CPU Gets Deployed on Custom Laptops, Spotted at a Polish Retailer Paired with Various RTX 50 Series GPUs
AMD’s recently released Fire Range CPUs may be available soon as a Polish retailer has listed some laptops with custom configurations with these chips. The retailer is Dream Machines, which is offering several of these laptops for pre-orders, starting at €2320 and up to €3930 for the best possible CPU-GPU configuration. The price can go higher depending on other specifications and includes various CPUs from AMD paired with various RTX 50 series GPUs.
Do note that these laptops aren’t from any major brand you usually buy from but are custom editions, featuring configurations ranging from RTX 5070 Ti to RTX 5090 and with CPUs such as the upcoming AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX, 9955HX3D, and Core Ultra 9 275HX. As far as the configurations with Ryzen 9 9955HX3D go, the cheapest available at €2526 is with RTX 5070 Ti but another edition with Ryzen 9955HX is also available at a cheaper price tag of €2320.
You can also find the RTX 5080 and RTX 5070 Ti with either of these CPUs. All these laptops look pretty identical to each other as they feature the same size and display properties. Each of these models offers a 16-inch screen with a 2560 x 1600p resolution, running at a 300 Hz refresh rate. While these aren’t yet in stock, users can pre-order these machines if they trust the retailer.
At the moment, AMD hasn’t revealed the exact date of availability of Ryzen 9 9955HX3D, but since it is going to be available in the first half along with Ryzen 9900X3D and Ryzen 9950X3D for desktops, it is likely coming soon. We have also seen ASRock adding support for Ryzen 9950X3D/9900X3D on its AM5 motherboards, which is yet another indicator of their upcoming retail launch.
Meanwhile, NVIDIA is set to launch its laptop RTX 50 series in March. At the same time, we will also see RTX 5070 and probably RTX 5060/5060 Ti GPUs hitting the shelves. AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX3D is going to be the flagship gaming and productivity chip for mobile platforms and, just like the 7945HX3D and the desktop 9000X3D SKUs, you can expect it to dominate in gaming benchmarks.
