It’s an exciting time of year for WWE fans: Royal Rumble is right around the corner, which means Wrestlemania season is about to begin. This year, the epic event will set Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana, on fire. Once it’s all said and done, we’ll know which WWE superstar will be heading to Wrestlemania 41.

Viewers can expect a stacked match card for the event, featuring a rematch between former friends Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens. They’ll fight for the WWE Championship in a contentious ladder match. The WWE Tag Team Championship is also on the line; Motor City Machine Guns will face off against champions DIY in a two-out-of-three falls match.

Then there are the Royal Rumble matches themselves. In total, 30 wrestlers will compete in the Men’s and Women’s matches until one competitor remains in the ring — that person will be guaranteed a World Championship match at Wrestlemania.

Plenty of drama outside of the ring has built to this moment. The friendship of Sami Zayn and Seth Rollins is on the rocks, thanks to some altercations with Roman Reigns and Drew McIntire. John Cena has kicked off his farewell year in the WWE and will hit the ring. Charlotte Flair is back and must contend with formidable opponents like Nia Jax and Liv Morgan.

Both Jey Uso and Logan Paul announced their involvement in the Royal Rumble at this week’s Raw, making them the newest additions. And what about CM Punk? The man seems to have issues with Rollins, McIntire, Cena and Rhodes, among many others. Needless to say, this will be a Royal Rumble to remember.
