The Tensor G5 powering the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL is definitely not the fastest smartphone chipset by any stretch, but for everyday use that does not involve gaming, Google’s latest flagships will run just like any other premium smartphone. With Amazon’s price cuts, these handsets now start from $749, giving you 128GB of storage in return. However, only the Pixel 10 Pro is offered with the aforementioned internal memory, but it is running the slower UFS 3.1 standard.
If you want to experience faster read and write speeds, improved responsiveness from the Pixel 10 Pro, and better battery consumption, as UFS 4.0 draws less power, opt for the 256GB models. Since the Pixel 10 Pro XL starts from 256GB of storage, you will not have to worry about getting slower flash memory with the larger flagship. Also, both devices ship with LTPO OLED panels, meaning that their refresh rate will clock down to 1Hz and go up to 120Hz when necessary.
The Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL are also equipped with 16GB of RAM, but a portion of that memory will be used up by Google’s Tensor Processing Unit (TPU).
