Apple To Launch 15 New Products In 2026, iOS 26.2 Beta Landing This Tuesday

Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has shared a number of tidbits in his latest “Power On” newsletter, including the number of product launches that Apple is planning for 2026, and the imminent launch cadence for iOS 26.2 beta.

Apple is planning to launch as many as 15 new products in 2026

By all accounts, 2026 is shaping up to be a very busy year for Apple, especially if the latest tidbits from Mark Gurman prove to be prescient.

To wit, Gurman believes Apple will launch these new products in the early portion of 2026:

  1. iPhone 17e
  2. 12th-gen iPad with A18 chip
  3. M4 iPad Air
  4. M5 MacBook Air
  5. M5 Pro MacBook Pro
  6. M5 Max MacBook Pro
  7. New external displays

Then, between March and April, Apple will launch:

  1. A revamped Siri under the banner of Apple Intelligence, bringing:
    • In-app Actions
      • Siri would be able to carry out context-based tasks within supported apps via voice commands. This includes adding an item to a grocery list, sending a message through the messaging app, or playing music.
    • Personal Context Awareness
      • Siri would soon be able to leverage personal data to offer tailored services such as scouring the Messages app to find a specific podcast mentioned in a text conversation.
    • On-Screen Awareness
      • Siri will soon gain the ability to understand the content that is on the screen and perform a number of agentic tasks as a result.
  2. A new smart home display, replete with a speaker-base and wall-mount options

In the fall, Apple is expected to launch:

  1. The iPhone 18 lineup
  2. The first foldable iPhone
  3. The new Apple Watches

Other possible product launches in 2026:

  1. Smart home security cameras
  2. M5 Mac mini
  3. The new Mac Studio
  4. iPad mini with OLED display (OLED iPad Pro is expected to launch in 2027)
  5. M6 Pro MacBook Pro with an OLED touch screen
  6. M6 Max MacBook Pro with an OLED touch screen
  7. AI-powered smart glasses

iOS 26.2 beta is about to land

In another major tidbit, Gurman believes Apple will launch the iOS 26.2 beta this coming Tuesday, following the public launch of iOS 26.1 on Monday.

The iOS 26.1 introduces a toggle for the Liquid Glass effect, as well as:

  1. An update to Apple Intelligence with support for Live Translation in Chinese, Japanese, and Korean.
  2. The first inklings of a Model Context Protocol (MCP) that would allow various third-party AI agents to interact with Apple’s bespoke services and on-device data via a single, standard protocol.
  3. Improvements to the Liquid Glass effect on the dialer keypad.
  4. A dedicated scrubber for photos and videos.
  5. Swipe to change tracks in Apple Music.
  6. A new Apple TV icon.
  7. Settings that enable a feature to forward notifications.
  8. New wallpapers.
  9. Expands the groundwork for upcoming third-party AI integrations.
  10. An expansion of Local Capture feature from iPadOS to iOS that allows users to record their own audio and video during a video call.
  11.  You can now disable the swipe gesture on the lock screen that would open the camera app in previous versions, preventing accidental launches of the camera app.
  12. Apple Intelligence now supports Chinese (traditional), Danish, Dutch, Norwegian, Portuguese (Portugal), Swedish, Turkish, and Vietnamese languages.
  13. AirPods Live Translation feature adds support for Chinese (Mandarin simplified and traditional), Italian, Japanese, and Korean languages.
  14. Apple TV+ rebranded to Apple TV.

As for iOS 26.2 beta, Apple is not currently expected to debut any new features with the version’s first developer build that is coming next week.
