CDS acquires Flatvision portfolio

Flatvision has a portfolio of rugged, industrial and commercial displays, monitors and touchscreen systems for retail, transportation, military, marine, and industrial automation. The product range includes open-frame monitors, panel mount displays, and sunlight-readable solutions.

CDS reassures Flatvision’s customers and suppliers of a smooth and uninterrupted transition, with a focus on maintaining the same levels of service and commitment they have come to expect. According to CDS, the acquisition will allow it to enhance its service capabilities and product range, ensuring continuity for existing Flatvision customers while opening up opportunities for future growth and collaboration

“We are excited to incorporate the Flatvision range into our broader offering,” said Tony Large, technical director of CDS. “This move is more than a business acquisition – it is about embracing and building upon a respected legacy. By combining Flatvision’s trusted product line with our infrastructure and innovation, we are well-positioned to deliver even more value to our customers.”

Chris Bartram, CDS managing director, added, “Preserving the trust and longstanding relationships built under the Flatvision brand is our top priority. We remain dedicated to honouring existing commitments and forging new partnerships that bring long-term value, as a part of our ongoing acquisition strategy.”

CDS designs and distributes display and embedded computing products, i.e., TFT LCDs, industrial panel PCs, touchscreens, video walls, transparent displays, and custom monitors. It offers flexible manufacturing and design to tailor products to the needs of various markets, including industrial, retail, medical, military, and commercial sectors.
