MAXSUN unveils the AMD B850 series for Ryzen 9000 CPUs and the Intel B860 series for Arrow Lake processors under various lineups.

MAXSUN Debuts Terminator, eSport, and Challenger 800-series AMD & Intel Motherboards, Featuring Compact Form Factors

MAXSUN, a board partner of Intel and AMD, has unveiled its brand-new lineups for Intel Arrow Lake and AMD Zen 5 desktop processors today. For AMD Ryzen 9000 and 7000 chips, it launched the B850 series motherboards, and for Intel Core Ultra 200S processors, the B860 series motherboards.

In both lineups, it released motherboards in various families, including the Terminator, eSport, and Challenger series, but the latter is only for Intel processors. For AMD, we have the MS-Terminator B850M WiFi, featuring an 8+2+1 power phase VRM, bringing 50A Dr.MOS for stable power delivery to the CPUs. The motherboard brings a micro-ATX form factor for compact PC builds and gets decent features onboard, such as dual 10G Type-C ports, high-quality SMT capacitors for enhanced durability and stability, as well as support for up to 8000 MT/s of DDR5 memory.

The other two are from the eSport family: the MS-eSport B850M WiFi ICE, featuring an m-ATX form factor, and the MS-eSport B850ITX WiFi ICE, which is a mini-ITX board for even more compact systems. The former brings a 6+2+1 power phase 50A DrMOS power design, 2x DIMMs with support of up to 8000 MT/s, dual PCI-E 4.0 M.2 slots, 1x PCI-E x16 slot, and 1x PCI-E x1 slot.

The B850ITX WiFi ICE has similar features but a smaller footprint, a 6+2+1 power phase 50A DrMOS design, and memory support of up to 8000 MT/s, 2.5G LAN, and WiFi 6 for internet connectivity.

For Intel Arrow Lake desktop processors, MAXSUN unveiled five B860 models, each with the m-ATX form factor. There are two motherboards in the Terminator family: MS-Terminator B860M WiFi and MS-Terminator B860M. The only difference between the two is the absence of a WiFi adapter on the latter, but the core features are the same, including a 10+1+1 power phase 60A Smart Power design, 8800 MT/s DDR5 memory support, and dual Type-C ports for connectivity.

The eSport Series features MS-eSport B860M SNIPER WiFi and MS-eSport B860M GANK WiFi. The former brings a 10+1+1 power phase 60A SPS power design, USB C port 40Gbps, 2x M.2 ports, and up to 8600 MT/s of DDR5 speed. The GANK model offers 8+1+1 50A power phases, 2x PCI-E slots, 10x USB ports, and WiFi 6 for internet connectivity.

Lastly, the Challenger series features the MS-Challenger B860M-K, boasting a 6+1+1 power phase 50A DrMOS power design, 2x M.2 slots, 2x PCI-E slots, and 10x USB ports, including 6x USB 5 Gbps ports. The B860 motherboards also offer MAXSUN’s PTM UI BIOS, which offers a simple yet feature-packed interface for quick changes.
