What is the best streaming service?
In our list of the best streaming services, Netflix won the top overall spot. However, the best streaming service will really depend on what type of content you like to watch. For example, families may find that Disney Plus better meets their needs, as it offers a wider variety of children’s content alongside teen and adult programming.
What streaming service has the most content?
Hulu and Netflix have quite extensive catalogs with a combination of original series and content originally aired on other channels, so the Hulu Black Friday deal will give you the most content for the lowest price. Some of the other services on this list like Starz stick primarily to their own programming, which can make their content libraries a bit smaller. Though Max merged its HBO Max content and Discover Plus content to widen its own library last year, so it does now offer a wider mix of shows and movies.
What’s the difference between Black Friday and Cyber Monday?
Black Friday is a shopping holiday that takes place on the Friday after Thanksgiving. It historically placed a larger emphasis on in-store doorbuster deals, while Cyber Monday is primarily an online shopping holiday. Though there has been a major rise in online savings during Black Friday and Cyber Weekend over the past several years.
Am I locked into a contract if I sign up for one of these Black Friday streaming deals?
If you sign up for one of these streaming promotions with a monthly discount offering, you can still cancel at any time. Though canceling early will make you lose out on the promotional pricing if you decide to rejoin later. Of course, if you pay upfront for a full-year, such as through Peacock’s annual subscription deal, you will have access for the full promotion period.
Is there an Apple TV Plus Black Friday deal?
There is not currently an Apple TV Plus Black Friday deal. Apple as a company tends to be quite sparing when it comes to discounts, both on its streaming service and it’s range of tech products.
How did we choose these Black Friday deals?
We scoured the available deals to find the streaming service discounts that truly offer a solid value. We’ve chosen deals from the best streaming services around, and are regularly updating this list as new promotions become available.
Do Black Friday streaming service deals actually save you money?
Generally, yes. Many streaming services are offering some really great Black Friday deals at the moment, including some offers that can save you up to 90% on monthly plans. The caveat is that many of these deals are exclusive to new subscribers, while others may only last for a few months, rather than the entire year. If you know you want to sign up for a streaming service soon, it may be best to skip free trial offers and instead sign up as a new subscriber while the deals are in full swing.
Is there a Netflix Black Friday deal?
Sadly, no. Netflix rarely offers discounts and that applies to Black Friday too. It appears the streaming giant is well aware of its hold on the market and feels as if there is no need to entice new subscribers with price cuts, hoping people will sign up with its standard costs: $7 (standard), $15 (standard without ads) and $22 (premium – 4K ultra HD).
Which streaming services usually offer the best Black Friday deals?
That’s hard to say, as it depends on your preferences. It’s worth noting that Netflix hasn’t participated in Black Friday price cuts previously, while Peacock, Disney, Hulu, Starz, Fubo and more regularly offer holiday savings.
